According to the classification by the SGC and the specialty societies or the WBSK, our clinic is recognised as a training centre for:
- Cat. B3 (maximum 3 years recognition) for specialist training in surgery
- Cat. ACU 1 (2 years recognition) for specialisation in general and trauma surgery
Our clinic offers a very broad insight into the entire field of surgery. In the field of general surgery and visceral surgery, practically all operations outside of highly specialised visceral surgery are offered. Traumatology covers all extremity traumatology, particularly in the winter months, with sometimes complex joint injuries. The position is particularly suitable not only for young colleagues to gain a broad insight into surgery, but also for advanced surgical trainees to complete their surgical catalogue before qualifying as a specialist.
