We provide orthopaedic treatment according to the Rapid Recovery scheme, with the emphasis on recovering as quickly as possible from surgery.
Examples of operations include
- knee and hip replacements
- Back operations
- Shoulder operations
Before the operation, patients receive training about their operation. They are told how to behave after the operation.
If possible, the first mobilisation by the physiotherapist takes place on the same day as the operation. The aims of the therapy are to teach patients how to walk and use the stairs, and to educate them. Patients are also taught a home programme.
After discharge, physiotherapy can be continued in our outpatient department.
