This service is available for non-emergency consultations without appointment.
The on-call service provides consultations for non-life-threatening emergencies without an appointment.
It is a medical-surgical centre with a radiology department (X-ray, scanner, MRI) and a laboratory for analyses, enabling it to function as a multidisciplinary diagnostic centre during working hours.
- The on-call service treats all patients aged 16 and over who present themselves on foot with a request for an unscheduled medical or surgical consultation, or in the absence of their GP.
- It offers a local service for an initial assessment and, in non-life-threatening emergency situations, treatment before transfer to a specialist department under the best possible conditions.
- The hotline also acts as a diagnostic platform, providing support to GPs.
- The hotline does not deal with patients identified for hospitalisation. In this case, the attending physician must refer the patient to another site.
- The duty desk does not make appointments for patient follow-up, except in the absence of the family doctor.
- In the event of a life-threatening emergency, the patient will be stabilised and transferred to Sion hospital.
