Information concerning your stay

  • Room

In most cases we offer single or double rooms, with modern furniture, all with shower and WC. Subject to availability, and at an additional cost, you can request a single room.

For the birth of a child, it is possible to install an extra bed so that the family can be together in a room. Depending on size, costs range between 100.- and 150.- CHF per night, not including visitor meals.

We are at your disposal for the consideration of all your requests wherever possible.

  • Multimedia

Each telephone is equipped with analogue Internet access. You can thus send and receive emails from your own personal computer, and connect to the Internet. The costs for this will be charged to your telephone bill.

Your friends and family will be able to reach you directly in your room by telephone. Please give them the following telephone number: +41 27 604 + your own internal telephone number. You will be provided with the required telephone card at reception.

The hospital is surrounded by superb, sunny flower gardens which are a wonder to explore. You can have a walk in the fresh air with your visitors, or relax on a bench. The entrance to the gardens is situated in front of the main entrance, to the left, or through Pometta restaurant in the basement.

  • Cafeteria – Meals

    Cafeteria and newsagents

The main meeting point is located on the same level as the main entrance. This place allows you to enjoy a good cup of coffee while you wait, or to buy something to read from the newsagents. • Spiritual life

For many people, life in hospital is not easy. Suffering, illness, pain, agony and death often raise fundamental questions. The chaplaincy team invites you to take a journey with us. We do this in an open and ecumenical spirit, respecting your vision of the world and your religious convictions.
and your religious convictions. If you would like an interview, communion, the anointing of the sick or the blessing of the sick, please contact the nursing staff or the chaplaincy team directly. We are also happy to accommodate requests from other religious communities.

On request, the chaplaincy team will bring communion to the patient's room once a week. On Sundays and public holidays, we hold religious services in the hospital chapels, to which you are cordially invited. If you would like to be accompanied at a religious service, the nursing staff will be happy to help you. The chapel is always available for silent reflection and prayer.
