Social services Spitalzentrum Oberwallis (SZO)

All patients of the Spitalzentrum Oberwallis may use the services of the SZO social consultation service free of charge. The staff of the SZO Social services unit are bound by professional secrecy. 

Working closely with internal and external partners, the SZO Social Service unit offers active support for social and professional reintegration. 

It focuses on promoting independence and integration, as well as ensuring patients' basic material security. The SZO Social Service unit is an integral part of the medical treatment team.

• Contact with external specialist services
• Dealing with the consequences of illness and accident
