Monthey Access

For visits: visitors (fee-paying) car park
Five buildings accommodate the treatment units, in addition to the cafeteria, administrative building and the large multiple use hall.
A large number of signs show directions in the park.
Driving within the park is not permitted without special permission.
Taxis, when ordered by a treatment unit, or reception, will wait to collect you outside reception.

  • From Lausanne: 
    ‘St Triphon - Monthey Nord’ motorway exit, then follow the road marked Collombey  / Val d’Illiez / Pas de Morgins. At the exit of the tunnel, follow the sign reading “hôpital psychiatrique” on the left.

    From Sion:
    ‘Bex - Monthey Nord’ motorway exit. Follow the road marked Monthey centre / Troistorrents / Morgins

  • Free parking spaces are available for visitors. For long term hospital stays, we ask you to use public transport, or to have someone bring you to the hospital.

  • The walk to the hospital from the AOMC train station takes around 10 minutes, and 20 minutes from the CFF train station.
    The hospital has wheelchair access.
