Orthopaedics at the Upper Valais Hospital Centre
"Quality of treatment through specialisation, innovation, process optimisation and digitalisation"
In order to increase the quality of treatment, each of the orthopaedic senior physicians is dedicated to a particular specialist area. They do this in their own specialised consultation hours as well as in their surgical work.
Many operations are supported and monitored by intraoperative digitalisation.
The quality of treatment is continuously improved through constant innovation and optimisation of treatment processes (rapid recovery).
A total of around 6,000 orthopaedic patient consultations take place annually in the various special consultation hours.
The orthopaedics department of the Upper Valais Hospital Centre is based in Brig.
