Hospitalisation sector Paediatrics department
The Hospitalisation Department manages between 12 and 17 beds for general paediatrics and intermediate care. It treats medical and surgical conditions. From the moment they are admitted to the hospital until they are discharged, children receive specialised care from paediatricians (interns, senior registrars and consultant physicians) and a team of nurses trained in paediatrics. Specialist consultants, particularly in neuropaediatrics, are available to respond to cases that require it.
We work to ensure the well-being of sick children. In the hospitalisation unit, the paediatrics department takes particular care in treating children and their families. It encourages parents to stay overnight at their child's bedside and strives to entertain and cheer up patients during their stay with a playroom and clowns from the Théodora and Chariot Magique associations. A teacher is available for prolonged hospitalisations to ensure the continuity of the child's education.
