Outpatient oncology

The Oncology and Haematology Unit is part of the Department of Internal Medicine. It provides oncological and haematological care for the Upper Valais region; there are no private providers in this area. Outpatient services are centralised at the Brig site (consultations and outpatient treatments). In conjunction with the palliative care unit, it is possible to provide inpatient care for oncology patients as part of hospital-based cancer treatments.

We place great importance on compassionate care and a relationship based on respect and trust. We care for our patients using the latest medical knowledge and in accordance with international guidelines, whilst taking into account the specific characteristics of their development. We place great importance on personalised, individual care, involving their loved ones.
