Oncology Department Valais Romand Hospital
Within our oncology department, the role of each member of staff is clearly defined to ensure the most comprehensive interdisciplinary care possible.
Doctors, nurses, medical assistants, secretaries and support care professionals work together in a coordinated manner to provide each patient with reliable, consistent and personalised care.
This collaboration is based on shared principles that guide everything we do. Firstly, absolute respect for professional secrecy and confidentiality: your health information is protected and is only shared with the professionals directly involved in your care. Secondly, working as a multidisciplinary team: we combine medical, nursing and psychosocial expertise to develop, together with you, a treatment plan tailored to your situation.
Caring, clear and respectful communication is at the heart of our relationship: we take the time to explain tests, treatments and their effects, to listen to your questions and to take your priorities into account. Finally, we are committed to a process of continuous improvement: regular training, updating our knowledge, evaluating our practices and incorporating the latest research findings.
These shared commitments ensure a clear, safe and compassionate care pathway, where you remain fully in control of your choices and your health.
